And now all I gotta do is slice it up and code it! Woo Hoo!

Crochet Link!
This was a birthday gift for my friend Henry, who is a big fan of the Zelda games! He ended up with no arms and legs or shield because I ran out of time. I find it charming this way though.
Another collaborative effort b/w myself and Rod Ben, this was originally a paper cut out design, so we had to come up with a design where all of the white was touching somehow, since that would be the paper. Needless to say, we had waaaay too many little spots in there to make it a paper cut out, so it just became a print. Enjoy!

TOtally forgot about my recent art collaboration!
...
So this whole art collaboration thing started from when I saw one of my other buddies' sketches (Rod Ben, go there too and come back). I was instantly "I NEED TO COLOR THAT". So I did my thing and took it to illustrator. Considering we are big fans of one another's work, it only made sense to do this! I will be posting mine and Rod's tomorrow.
So for this one, I drew it, and he colored it. It came out so wonderful. I loves it!

Wedding Pic for Fun!
A simple little illustration I did shortly before we bought a Cintiq. Sigh...mouse memories. haha
Also, no, I'm not getting married, but if you saw the amount of wedding magazines I have, you'd probably be concerned. Wedding magazines, however, have the best stuff! They have awesome inspiration ideas for anything you want to design, from really cool invitations to decorations and stuff. Its a really great source, and it doesn't take much to steer it away from being too much like it could be in a wedding. Give it a try!

New Updates!
Just something I did for fun.
Hi Guys!
So, I know every couple of months or so, I post a new entry and say I'm going to try to stay updated, post more, yada yada yada, and it never gets done. But now, I am seriously going to try to stay true to my word. For one thing, I had a strange Sunday one day, and just up and cancelled my web hosting and deleted my website, designbychi.com. Soooooo now that doesn't exist anymore, and I ended up going with a different host, and now my new domain is mochibaby.com. Random? Yes. Do I regret it? Not really. That old website was made in 2009, meaning I had old pictures up, and it was all really to graduate and get a job with type of thing. I felt like I've grown as an artist, and being in a great job and position as I am now, I can now really focus on what I want my branding to be as an artist. Still working on the new site, but check back soon for a launch. I will definately have a post for that!
