Fun @ Work?

What? You can't have fun at work.

Well, I do at least. Here's some updated images of my work on Mystique. At the rate I'm getting the chance to work on it between shirts people have ordered, looks like I'll finish it...quite some time from now. Oh well:

I got a chance to spend about maybe 30 mins to get this far on one Sunday.

This was about another 20 mins or so today.

I took this right after I laid down the base yellow before I start on the rest of the background and the touch ups.

That's about it for now.

Penelope's Playhouse WIP Interior

So here is the interior to Penelope's Playhouse, also known as "The Cow Boob House" apparently. Also done in Illustrator, and no, I'm not on drugs.

It's pretty psycho-deli-cious if you ask me.

Fashion Illustration

Some fashion illustrations I've been working on. They now have like a ton of books at our library because of the new fashion business class, which is awesome because I don't have to go out and buy these books now!

I plan on going to Siggraph which is in LA this year, so that sounds like its gonna be frickin awesome! Ready for the quarter to end now though, its definitely been a long one.

Penelope's Playhouse WIP

If it looks weird, GOOD. That's the point. Here is a work-in-progress of an establishing shot for my animated short for Digital Ink and Paint. Its actually called "Penelope's Tea Time."

Decent

So I had a pretty relaxing weekend, worked and then Sunday went to the school. That was fun. What wasn't fun, I spent the entire day by myself, surrounded by families and people there with their friends. It made me realize that I was very lonely, and having a seriously creepy stalker doesn't help much. For serious, it was sad; I ended up eating lunch by myself, left by myself, drew by myself. Mehh, whatever. I also did something this weekend I didn't think I had the guts to do myself. That was exciting hahaaha

I did some individual quick animal studies, playing around with the kraft paper I had. I had fun doing that at least. God, I'm such a nerd.

Elio didn't like them very much; I thought they were decent.

I couldn't get the rest of my gestures on here, seeing as how tiny my scanner is compared to my sketchbook.

Not much else going on really. I'm bummed I haven't had a chance to work on any illustrations for Bob's game, or work on any fashion illustrations either. Hopefully I'll be getting those chances soon.

Thanks everyone for all the love on the car! Wasn't asking for it, but believe me, its much appreciated!

Honda Integra 95

I feel like hell and only got 16 hours of sleep this entire week, but I managed to get all my projects done, and on the upside, we're headin on over to the zoo this Sunday, so I'll be enjoying my first day off from work finally.

So here's the car, in all its glory. I definitely hate it. Ok, I don't hate it, it was just hell making it and getting it done on time. It still needs a lot of work, so I will probably be re-submitting it.

And now I can get some sleep.

Charles Lee Ray

This is a quick little ink sketch I did of Chucky the doll for Victoria. She's going to be creating it in Illustrator, so it should come out real nice. She had to do a spoof on a brand of some sort, so she decided to do "Chucky Cheese" instead of "Chuck E. Cheese." I came up with the tagline, "Where a kid can kill a kid," but her teacher won't let her use that. Apparently its too controversial.

And yes, this is powered by awesomeness.
