Here are some sketches and concept work for my Background Design class.
This second set is for the final project/senior project to go in my portfolio. I have many character designs that will be scanned, completed, and uploaded soon!
BTW, its a space world on top, and the buildings are set on poles that extend down into the ocean, which is another world full of mermaids and a different sort of technology.

I love your little space city. I can't wait for the finished turnarounds.
The one with the tree is very remindful of a restaurant @ Islands of Adventure, designed by professional designers... which should tell you that its pretty darn fantastic.

And while looking up these images I learned that MOST of this section of the park is going to the torn down to make way for a new Harry Potter section... what a shame, its VERY cool....
